Kim Finch Cook, CEO
Kim Finch Cook is a long-time entrepreneur with a life-long focus on business. Formerly a business broker, Kim has enjoyed a successful career for the last 25 years in executive recruiting. She started at Management Recruiters International, and then ran the accounting department of four branch offices for a national accounting service. Kim launched Kim Finch Cook Executive Recruiters in 1993, capitalizing on her extensive business background, networking capabilities, and substantial reputation in the field.
Kim has personally interviewed several thousand candidates, and therefore has a significant proprietary database from which she works to recruit. Kim has placed candidates from all parts of the United States and the world, including as far afield as Australia, Germany, and Chile. She mostly works with companies on the West Coast (especially Seattle), but has placed candidates in companies all over the US, including Hawaii.
Kim supports Kiwanis International and Mary’s Place of Seattle.
Josh Leichtung, Vice President
Josh is VP of the Technology & Marketing Practice at Kim Finch Cook & Company, which includes both recruiting and consulting. Josh’s deep business experience in successful turnarounds and startups as a CEO, CMO, COO, and Division GM, gives him a unique ability to quickly identify successful strategies and tactics that are achievable.
Josh’s clients have included Intel, Intuit, The Body Shop, Key Bank, M. LaHart & Company… on both marketing strategy and execution, as well as new product development. He partnered with Jay Walker, (later founder of Priceline) to bring FedEx overnight shipping to the catalog industry. He also helped sell his company for over $100 million to Kevin O’Leary of Shark Tank fame (and subsequently worked under him).
Josh has held key C-level and division GM positions with Fortune 500 companies and with a number of tech startups reporting to officers and boards. Josh led his company to place on the Inc. 500 List of Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies three consecutive years.
